Musicology - Album and Single(s) on Vinyl Asked a lot of Wrecka Stows here in Germany, but they all said that there are no Vinyl-Issues for the "Musicology"-Releases. Does anybody have other informations? -----------------------------------------

There are no plans to release Musicology on vinyl.
(though of course TRC eventually got a vinyl release... so you never know)

Well.... blank ones, that is. They never did blow up here with the record industry. The word is that IN JAPAN, minidiscs and portable minidisc players are a normal, everyday thing like cds (think: walkmen) are to us in all the other countries. For those who read this and aren't familiar with minidiscs, minidiscs are a type of recording media like tapes, cds, 8-tracks, and vinyl LPs--they're most like cds (except any blank minidisc can be edited/erased/recorded and re-written on an infinitely many times). It's like a super tiny cd, 3 cm in diameter, that is permanently inside a plastic floppy-disk-like shell. It is NOT the same as the mini-cd--which is just a small cd.

vinyl will NEVER die!!!! True that. Espicially with the nature of this album...all old school and everything, it would be clever and funny to release it on vinyl. The single would be a hella cool 45 to have. Also in 12". Vinyl will never die. Except maybe of old age about 30 years from now.

(though of course TRC eventually got a vinyl release... so you never know) I really like my Rainbow Children record. It is cool to see how the sides are split up and it has a big cover and album sized booklet It sounds well mastered on vinyl to me, nice deep sound. I would buy Musicology on vinyl too "Hyperactive when I was small, Hyperactive now I'm grown, Hyperactive 'till I'm dead and gone"

I'm pretty sure it will come on vinyl later on. Sometimes labels don't even inform on it, though.
