Stevie Nicks....misty-eyed talking about Prince

I was just watching the TV Guide channel and they did a segment on Prince. They talked about his tour and showed clips of several celebs at the Staples Center concert last month. They spoke with Gwen Stefani, Derek Fisher, comedian Richard Lewis and Stevie Nicks. Stevie Nicks tried to hold back tears as she was responding to this being the last time Prince performs his hits....it was very moving.

eek eek She was in Fleetwood Mac.. well, still is in Fleetwood Mac. Prince collaborated w/ her on Stand Back, a top 5 hit from the early 80's. She's a legend. Some of her songs include Landslide, Dreams, Rhiannon, Gypsy, Talk to Me, Silver Springs.

Stevie Nicks is one of the female vocalists in Fleetwood Mac. If you don't know about the Fleetwood Mac "story", you should read up on it. Its much more interesting than most of their music.

Prince played keyboards on a Stevie Nicks song called 'Stand Back' and she gave him a writing credit.

Silly me I should really have know that, though I never really got into Fleetwood Mac but I still like what I hear on the radio and I've heard Rumours many times.

She said something about owing so much to Prince and that she was glad to be alive to experience Prince and his music. She was almost at a lost for words...TV guide usually reruns the segments several times.

You know I just came back form the Cleveland Show & Prince can do next year another "Hits tour"! I mean he barely tapped into this Hits.

Every Album he still has Hits or Songs ALL the fans feel are Hits... so Prince can do another full tour like this one with Hits on them
