Seriously...what do you think goes on in the 15 minutes before Prince takes the stage ... I would like to know if anyone has a realistic view of what takes place back stage in those final minutes before Prince walks out and starts rippin'. I've tried to imagine the incredible rush that he would feel. For me those final minutes...let's say, like at the opener in Los Angelos would have me so overwhelmed. They say speakers always feel nervous before a talk. What about performing at a concert. Please describe the scene and the rush I would love to hear your take on it! Peace | |

Well, I'm not sure exactly what happens before Prince goes onstage to do a show, but I know he used to do a group prayer will all the band members right before the concert begins. I imagine that he probably still does that.

I know for a fact that he "tweks" his opening act - I got to see him when he toured back in 96-97 Emancipation tour - Larry Graham opened for him. During Larry's performance - Us who where in the 21st row. Got to sit near the sound board. Prince himself was "tweaking" Larry's sound.
He was dressed in a long cashmire trench coat and a black hat. Try to disquise himself I guess. IT was very cool to see him, although none of us had the guts to go up 2 him. Very cool none the less, to see him doing that. [This message was edited Fri Apr 16 7:04:07 2004 by facedown7] "3 1 2 1" | |

You can take this as the absolute truth. My sister's friend's next-door-neighbor's cousin' boyfriend is a janitor at the Staples Center and found this in the trash can in Prince's dressing room after the show:
