You know its just a shame that Prince and Kevin Smith are mixing it up in the press now. I know that Smith bad mouthed Prince on his DVD "An Evening with Kevin Smith" with a long (funny) story about how Prince mind-fucked him when Smith came out to Paisley Park to document the Rainbow Children listening parties, but at this point its starting to get out of hand.

Prince should realize that the DVD was probably seen by a few hundred people and that most of them probably didn't even remember that long story. I thought it was a bit petty to slam Smith's shitty little movie given how often people slam Prince's lamer works.

You would think that with Prince's new "enlightened" outlook that he'd let it go by now....

Kevin Smith is the biggest hack in the film biz, and so what if Prince didn't dig Jersey Girl...shit looks horrible anyway.

I love that Kevin Smith's witty retort (sarcasm) was " I hated Crystal Ball now we're even..."
Even his selection of what "album" to pick is out of context and off base. Jersey Girl was a composition, Crystal Ball was a compilation...Crystal ball was supposed to be erratic, and all over the place. Jersey Girl was a actual single artistic statement...Kevin SMith is retarded. i met him at The celebration he was a total bullshiter. he was trying to act like he knew as much as the fans, & that he was down. We talked comics and I told him that the first Batman was awesome, he disagreed...and said Burton sucks. I thought to myself "sure Mall Rats was great...."
