The first 10 shows from the Controversy tour, during the song "Annie Christian", Prince would pull out a hand gun and point it towards the side of the stage. His face would be full of rage. My girlfriend at the time had a pull out poster of this from some import magazine. Prince looked crazed. I tried to get her to give it to me, hell no was her answer. It was reported that Prince's management told Prince that perhaps he should drop that out of his act. He did, because when I saw him later on the tour, he didn't even play Annie Christian. He had pulled the song from the set altogether.

Hmmm.....that would explain the pic of him onstage from the Controversy Tour with a gun in his hand then.
