hey thats great to hear biggrin

By the way I was wondering does the "Free" with a Ticket copy of the Musicology cd.. count with Prince's weekly record sales???

I mean we are paying for a higher ticket. You might assume this would be part of the soundscan??

Whats everyones thoughts

Wake up people!..it's probably "#1" because they have a bunch of albums that they are trying to unload. I doubt it is the best selling album on there...VERY unlikely. If you want to see what the best selling album is, look at Amazon or Billboard.

Or maybe you are right and Musicology jumped about 85 chart positions to the top and is the best selling album in the United States....LOLOLOL...damn, some people will believe ANYTHING.

That list at buy.com is a constantly changing list, taking into account what people bought over the last hours of the day... Maybe you looked at it at 2:00 am, and Prince has sold 30 records, and the others less... Look at the list now, and Prince is nowhere to be seen...

However, they have a very nice teaser on Prince and his new album on the start page of the music section...

Well, if it is how many albums were sold in the last 5 minutes and Prince sold 2 and Usher sold 1, then maybe it is accurate, but meaningless of course.

It's good to see how excited some of Prince's fans get when he accomplishes something. I, mean, real fans put down anything positive.

what list is it? I also didn't see it in the top 30 (didn't check further). If it's the download store, then this is just another slap in the face to Mac users. Why is the whole album available for download from walmart.com and buy.com, both WMA based, thus only reaching the same users that the NPGMC store does, but not available at iTunes, which rather than competing with the NPGMC store, instead reaches the users the NPGMC store doesn't reach.

btw: it is #20 at amazon.com

Here's another link.

Prince is pretty savvy about selling the CD; you only can choose to get Musicology the single or the album; you cannot purchase the other songs individually; this is different than almost all of the other CDs for sale on Buy.com.
