I've only heard "Temptation" on some rehearsal recordings...I don't recall hearing a live version from any shows. | |

Yessirree, he did it on the Purple Rain tour. He did a "sneak preview" of ATWIAD at the Indianapolis show and performed Temptation - I'm sure he did this at other shows on that tour too. | |

It was performed in Tokyo on the last show with The Revolution (September 9, 1986). I'm not sure that this was the only time it's been performed. Life it ain't real funky unless you got that orgPop. | |

Someone would really have to do their homework to answer this question. But without a doubt, its safe to say there's always at least one or two songs from each album that Prince doesn't perform live. Some more or less than others. But is there an album out there where Prince has played EVERYTHING besides say like the Purple Rain album? Waddabout "Positivity"? My awful memory is not allowing me 2 remember whether or not it was done on LiveSexy, I sho aint heard it anywhere else.

[/color] Oh yes: on the first night of the Lovesexy tour in 1988. July 5 (or 8 can't remember) in Paris. It was the first encore! Also, Positivity was played at least twice on aftershows in the US Lovesexy tour (New York Roseland and San Fransisco). |

I keep going on about this show, but at one of the London dates of the ONA at the soundcheck he played the drums and some people reported it as "part of", or the intro. to Tambourine. I don't have a boot and i honestly can't remember that well. If it was, it was all too brief.
