I didn't go to the concert last night in Cincy, but I did go around back and listen at the back door of the venue. The sound came through good; so I did hear a few songs. I got lucky and when I arrived he was doing the acoustic stuff. It sounded pretty bland to me. Nothing earth shattering. Prince seems to go through the motions--no spontanious ideas, no nothing. The songs are clipped and forced. Maybe he was having a bad night. I wasn't that blown away.

I also saw a sad sight, a girl who had Cerabral Palsy, was waiting for Prince to autograph something, and they told her Prince didn't do that. Made me feel bad for her.

Too bad for you Freaky that you're so unsatisfied with Prince and his music these days. I'm lovin it!

If he doesnt sign autographs, he doesnt sign autographs.He doesnt sign them for anyone so its not like he dogged that girl by signing one for someone else and not her!

But what really surprised me when I saw him was how old he looked! He looked good but damn it made me feel old!

Exceedingly odd, and totally unnecessary. I was at the show, along with 10,000 or so other people, and lemme tell you, the music was QUITE extraordinary. Sorry you don't feel the same way...but then again, I can't imagine that you would have any idea of how it actually sounded by standing at the back door!

Gee, maybe the reason it sounded bland is because you were OUTSIDE of the arena, you can't just walk up on the last ten minutes of a show and judge it!!!!
