That's incredible news! I'm in the middle of voting for the song on TRL. I'm on my 5th or 6th time. I encourage everyone to do the same, even if the song isn't shown on TRL.

The video was on MTV last night. It was cool to see it on the wire. They actually are showing the video. It's been years. It's a cool video that's why. Everybody can relate. The kid is great and it hits home to alot of people. Tap dancing. Come on, how could you not play this video.

It's just a great video. Period. The kid, the dancers, the band and of course Prince and the music. I wrote to MTV thanking them for airing the video as much as they have been. It's been such a long time since I saw something on MTV that made me want to watch it regularly and it's been a real treat to see one of the artists that helped make MTV what it is get this kind of airplay 20 some years later.

By the way, the video came on MTV at 11am this morning, the first video for the hour. Cool if I may say so myself!

MTV used to go days without showing any videos, but they've been getting better. Between 2am & 10am, videos can be seen on a regular basis. MTV2 used to show nothing but videos, but now they non-music crap just like MTV.

i'm surprised with all the support of the Org out there that Prince has lost twice on Video Clash. He's been up against Outkast (can see losing there) and Janet (don't get losing that one) the last two nights respectively. I'm sure he'll be on the next couple of nights as well so get your computers ready to vote and it's also a great time to watch the video. I believe it's on at 8 or 9 pst.
Plus if they win one round they get played again vs. another video. Let's get P. a Victory tonight.

wELL I tHINK tHAT siNCe musicology (studio version) is clearly not one of my favorites, It is smart on his part to release it that way.

this gets the crowd going and when he drops the bomb on call my name and the other stuff on the album, then he should be able to take the charts again.

It was there before at #7, I checked a bunch of times. Now all of a sudden it's totally vanished off the list. Weird.

yeah, it was definately there earlier. I saw it before the post was even on here. If you notice there is only 19 videos listed now to. So obviously his has been taken off and was not replaced by anyone else.

also; per my previous post on the Video Clash between Prince and Janet...it appears that it will be one of the featured battles at the beginning of the segment and it airs at 2est/11pst.
Hope enough of us can catch it and get enough votes in to get P. a win. Then maybe they'll give him his spot back on mtv top 20. lol

It's not even listed on the page where u can vote! It was there last week! Hmmmm....I know U can still write him in, but it's weird that he's off that list....hmmmmm.....
