Did Prince ever write any other tracks with his father other than The Ladder? Hi again
I have to say that one of my favorite Prince tracks is the one that he wrote with his father called 'The Ladder' from Around the World In a Day (from my recollection of looking at the sleeve notes years ago, hopefully this is right)?? Do you guys (or sexy gals ; ) know if he ever wrote other tracks wth his father and if so have they been recorded and released ?? Indy London,UK

Under The Cherry Moon
Computer Blue Scandalous... ...quite a few tracks have John L. Nelson receiving a co-writing credit, but I think it's debatable whether he actually had any involvement in the songs at all. Prince would usually give various people songwriting credit on his albums despite them having little to do with the recording/writing of the songs.

Indy London,UK good question prince's father seemed 2 be even more mysterious than prince it would have been interesting 2 witness a true collaboration and performance involving father and son although i do think when u hear prince perform, u also hear some of his father's influence

Probably to make himself feel better about all the material he stole from other musicians. Some people are like Slinkies...

"So strange that no one stayed at the end of the Parade..." - Wendy & Lisa's "Song About" on their 1987 self-titled album.

John L. was also given credit for ATWIAD and CT's Parade. As already stated he really only contributed to Computer Blue. I'm sick and tired of the Prince fans being sick and tired of the Prince fans that are sick and tired!
