I Spot A PR Scene In Alicia's vid... I wuz just watchin' Alicia Keyes' MV "If I Ain't Got You" @ the part when she wuz 'bout 2 get in2 the car her b/f drove off & she tried again & he did it again. That's just like the scene from PR when Apollonia tried 2 get on Prince's motorcycle. Whatchall thinka?

I wuzn't seein' what I wanted 2 see. I seen it & it made me thinka 'bout PR. There's many vidz out there that reminds me of PR but just different in so many ways. Like the vid's situation ayn have nuthin' 2 do wit PR's meaning. I'm just talkin' 'bout the scene NOT the story outline. & I haven't seen PR since 2000. No, I totally agree. It's staged very much like the scene in PR. And since Alicia's covered Prince, performed with him, and inducted him into the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame, I don't think it's ridiculous to think she slipped a small homage to Purple Rain into her new video. |

THANK U!  That's exactly it! & PurpleKnight's comment woulda only been necessary if I woulda said sumbody else's MV & they neva had no assosiciation wit Prince.
