I've never really been a fan of listening to music on anything other than CD format, so I've deliberately resisted listening to anything from the new album through the internet. I haven't heard ANY of the tracks yet - What Do You Want Me To Do?, Musicology, Call My Name, or Reflection.

I actually can't wait for the thrill of walking into my local record store next month with the rest of the public and picking up A BRAND NEW Prince album. There's nothing quite like it in my book. Here's to the 20th, and the rewards of pleasure-delaying. Just under a month to go now...

You're all " masochiste " we say in french.. this record is a bomb, and you have the occasion to give the money directly to the artist and not to Sony....

If you continue to resist then just download the bataclan live, this one is great and you won't find it in your Sony record..

I'll wait too for the album to come out. To appreciate more because yes it's like in the old days of buying a new album from the funky artist.

I downloaded the controversy and bataclan singles and they sound so great!!!!!

I have it in CD quality now. Actually wav files direct from one of the CD.

Kinda a strange album really. Prince's lyrics seem to be random thoughts. It goes from brilliant to the simplistic. The lyrics are very vague. None of the songs relate to each other. There is alot of drum machine work on it. There is a lot of rock guitar too though. It's worth owning and listening to. Really and truly. I liked it. After a couple of listens. It's a fun record. Illusion, Coma, Pimp & Circumstance is real cool. 3. A Million Days 4. Life 'o' The Party 5. Call My Name 6. Cinnamon Girl 7. What Do U Want Me 2 Do? 8. The Marrying Kind 9. If Eye Was The Man In Ur Life 10. On The Couch 11. Dear Mr. Man 12. Reflection. I really liked it.

I too will be waiting. From the tracks I've heard nothing has really grabbed me, so I hope to be surprised come April 20th.

Living in Denmark and not being a member of the NPGMC, I have to wait. Still, I think I can manage.

I waiting until the official label release. It will be far more enjoyable to listen to the tracks through my headphones while chillin and reading the liner notes just like the old days!

I have no other choice but to wait cause I'm doing special work in Arizona and I'm nowhere near Scotsdale (I think) for the nearest theater. I like it the old way anyway so I can hold out till the 20th.

Like bombsquad I have dial-up and downloading anything is a freaking drama fest. Yet, I too prefer cds - mainly because I grab a bunch a friends when I go shopping and force my musical taste upon them

NNah, I have to have the whole kit and kooboodle. And, I know a great local cd store that never offers the record companies price for a new release. i'll be paying $13 tops. All those in MA and RI, hit Newbury Comics.

I wasn't going to wait till then...NO WAY!!!!. The only thing I'm waiting for is the CD booklet so I can see the album credits; just to be certain of some things. They should list them somewhere on the sight.
