Ya think... Prince can draw? I myself just got finished wit drawing him as a b-ball playa & wit sum AF1s on mixed wit his 1983 outfit(but I changed & alternated it)-2 hrs. ago. Newayz justa thought. What do ya'll think? & the drawing I'm associating this topic with are pictures or even cartoons. I'm not positive, but I think the covers of 1999 and Exodus are his drawings, as well as the "people" you see on the NPG Music Club site . . .
I think his drawings lean toward the "cartoony" side, not realistic . . . |

I neva seen the cover of 1999 or Exodus. U or nebody else gotta pic of that? & I agree he seems like he'd be more cartoonistic(um..dun think that's a word,lolz) It'd be koo 2 see drawings by Prince. Yeap!  neva seen'em until now. WhOa  the colors..the colors..are..so mesmerizing Beautiful  Sorda reminds me of JJ's artwork offa Good Times. But these 1s are real colorful I like'em. Looks like it might be Prince's artistic side. Thanx 4 sharin' okaypimpn

Am I wrong, or is Prince the artist of all those "people" on the website? It seems like his style, especially since they all seem like variations of himself (even the women figures!)  |

I hate to be the one to burst y'alls bubble, but Prince did not do the Exodus cover. The style is somewhat reminiscent of the NPS sleeve art which was done by Debbi McGuan and Steve Parke. Parke goes back to Graffiti Bridge - he did the cover illustration and also did the computer art for Emancipation.
However, if he HAD drawn those covers, then I could tell everyone 'The man can draw, too.' | |
