As far as I know... it only exists in the PR script, but was not actually filmed for the movie. Please correct me if I'm wrong. However, there are a few parts that may end up in the new dvd. There are a few versions out there...the Aug 3, '83 version of course, plus some rehearsal versions...I agree it is one of his best songs ever, released or otherwise. | |

Yes, a Beautiful Beautiful song fromthe Purple Rain Era. First Ave it was Great. I wanna know why it wasn't in the film or on the album. Yes, the lyrics to this song well it kinda does me like JOY In REPETITION does ya know. These are Prince at his most Prolific. How bout when he says his Name is ELECTRIC Man? And When He Puts His Plug In YO Socket? How bout those Lyrics. This Man Creates the Best Come On Lines. He Totally makes Sex seem like it's gonna be like some Heavenly Desert. He just has some Gorgeous Imagination. His Dreams must be so Intensely Vibrant. How about BEAUTIFUL STRANGE? This song just it's so HYPNOTIQUE . It reminds me of like something that should have been on the UNDERTAKER or like on the SHOw THE BEAT CLUB or Even how it Is like an IRON BUTTERFLY like INAGADADAVIDA..Or VANILLA FUDGE time. There are no known "Studio" versions of EI. All circulating versions are live. BUT knowing Prince I'm sure he might have one in the vault.
