Those two piano notes that come after "shock you with my lips" etc....They hit me physically, right in my heart and my...yeah. How did I miss out on this song for so long? Darling, don't you know your technicolor climax is at my fingertips? Is there a better line anywhere?

after i moved to my new place 2 years ago, i couldn't find my boot with EI on it. i am convinced my old roommate stole that bad boy, and i've been suffering from withdrawal ever since because there are NO more boots available in the stores around here (thanks Londell).

I didn't know Electric Intercourse was on a BTLG CD. I only have on on video where Prince performs it during the infamous First Avenue performance. I fell in love with the song during the live performance but had no idea there was a studio version. I'm not going to ask anyone how I can get it.....no I'm not.

Oh yeah, I heard it for the first time a couple of months ago and I've followed Prince for 16 years! I'll put it on now and see if I can connect with FunkMistress on the metaphysical highway

About the "wake up Wendy" line:
There's a version with this line and one without. The one with this little "direction" by Prince is from rehearsal, the other one from the August 3rd, 1983 1st Ave concert, when much of the Purple Rain album was recorded.
