Prince hasn't "calmed" down

i've been reading many posts with people saying Prince has calmed down and he's more "normal" now and stuff like that...in my opinion i think all this "calm" Prince and "normal" Prince and "back in the day" Prince we see right now is just a theme for this album & tour..you guys who have been Prince fans all these years know that each album has a new theme and a new look & this year Prince is playing "a normal" guy...next year we'll have a Prince with a different look,theme and sound...and thats what makes Prince so great..he is ALWAYS changing

i would say in this case normal would mean a nice "normal" interview with Tavis Smiley instead of Prince with his head covered being interviewed and answering thru Mayte lol

Exactly. He's been wearing suits since early 2002, at least. He doesn't go for the weird theatrics anymore (such as wearing a hat with gold chains obscuring his face or whispering in Mayte's ear and having her speak for him)...that's just not where he's at...and hasn't been since at least Emancipation.

Zelaira	He Has Calmed Down. He's Working Alot but he's not Going Off in Tangents. He doesn't Really Care about All That Anymore. It's much More like Relaxed and Laid back.

IMO-just as long as Prince is relaxed/happy then we all should be 2(relaxed/happy 2 know he's still makin' good songs like he has 4 so many yrs.) Neva knew Mayte spoke 4 Prince..(I've been out the zone 2 long). Well obvisiously now he speakin' up which is great. nod
