I sooooo agree! I especially love the part when he sings "Don't make me CRYYYYY! Don't you do it, baby. Don't make me sleeeeep wiiiiithout your kiss!"
The lead and the background vocals together are outstanding, IMO. A prime example of Prince's best vocal abilities. Boy, this song just really gets me! Actually, you shouldn't listen to this as a straight male. | |

You're absolutely right - the vocals on this track are KILLER! Not to mention the beautiful, simple melody and the playful lyrics...
I've probably listened to this song a 1,000 times already.  No confusion, no tears. No enemies, no fear. No sorrow, no pain. No ball, no chain.

So, so true. His vocals in this are amazing, he sounds so soulful and emotional. I love it. That organ adds so much to this song too, really gives it that soul sound that works so well. The world is a comedy for those who think and a tragedy for those who feel.
