Hall of Fame Induction?

I know this has been said so many times already, but so what.
Man, why couldn't Stevie Wonder or Lenny have inducted Prince into the HOF? Outkast's speech was sooo lame. He deserved so much better than that. Alicia wasn't too bad though...

Remember the speech that Stevie gave for the NAACP Key of Life Award...Now that was cool.
"I have a date with Lisa. Isn't that wonderful?"

Dunno. But Stevie's a good choice. I even thought that the Isley Brothers woulda been a good choice. Even tho u neva hear'em talka 'bout each otha(P-2-IB or IB-2-P) But they both play the guitar & can relate on sum genre music & the Isley's even toured wit Jimi Hendrix(inspirator of P) in the mid 60s b4 Jimi wuz well known(seen that info on 'Music Choice' 2day).

They usually want someone of a younger generation giving the induction speech. Or someone OF said artist's generation.
This post not for the wimp contingent. All whiny wusses avert your eyes.

I thought Alicia's lil' speech was kinda lame..I can't figure this girl out..at times I dig her..other times I can't stand her...that nite she definately bugged me..I thought it was great that Outkast were "off the dome" ....yeah, they coulda' done better, but they were real...she seemed a lil' too "look-at-me-an'-how-much-I'm-feelin'-this-speech"

Lenny was my choice too, and I think the duo of him and Alicia Keys would've been perfect.

I thought her speech was a "bit" much (the whole King vs. Prince part), and I thought she sometimes came across as a girl-with-a-crush - but it worked.

I just didn't appreciate that she was sky-high when she did the intro. That's all.

Yeah, some of Alicia's speech seemed lame "There are many kings.... King Henry the Eighth, King Richard the Lionheart, errr, Queen Elizabeth, errr, King Kong, Godzilla, Mothra. But there is only one Prince. Well apart from Prince Charles. And Prince Albert of Monaco. And Michael Jackson's kid."
