It's great for all those newer members that they can finally get their hands on Year one downloads. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I just realised, the tracks are more easily available for non-members. Therefore is it possible that members (who when logged in just get black screens) will have cheaper prices?

You can login when you buy to get the $0.77 downloads... haven't tried burning any of the tracks to CD yet. Hawaii and Bataclan sound good... but when I pause the song it makes a weird noise which is a bit off putting.

Not working for me...I've purchased and downloaded the whol album, but when it comes to playing, windows media player 9 says I don't have a licence to play the file and asks me to enter the email and password I sued at time of purchase...(and that doesn't work either)
anyone else get that? | |

anyone else get that? There is something in the settings of media player that enables you to automatically download the certificates required to play licensed files. Maybe someone more techy-minded can explain to you better. Otherwise just look in the configuration settings of Media player - you should find something there. ..... BULLSEYE!

NPGMC says this: "2 Xperience Musicology, please download the latest Windows Media Player and make sure u have it installed properly 2 accept licensed downloads" and also this: "u will need 2 make sure ur browser can accept cookies and javascript, and we recommend that u access the download store thru Internet Explorer." and finally this: "4 all issues related 2 the download store, please emale: npgmc-support-drm@npgmusicclub.com" ..... Somebody tell me... Unfortunately, you're kinda screwed. This is from the "Systems Requirements" in the Musicology download section on NPGMC: IMPORTANT: Make sure u mean 2 buy ur music from ur primary computer (for example: ur home computer) so that it contains ur primary license. The licenses are non-transferable. Example: U cannot buy ur music on ur home machine and then transfer ur primary license 2 ur second home computer. The computer u buy from becomes the primary computer with the primary license 4 that song. U can only copy music from ur primary machine via your primary license. No confusion, no tears. No enemies, no fear. No sorrow, no pain. No ball, no chain.

This makes me wonder... if i dl the tracks to a certain school computer, i should be able to burn them on a CD from that computer? Right??? If so, then i should be able to take that CD with the tracks home, and make more copies of it? Shit. This is too complicated. I just want to have the new Prince CD. I think ill soon give up and get it from the illegal sources... fuckit ********************************************

I just noticed the NPG member click here bit on media player which did the trick! BTW - I also noticed that you can back up your licences through media player, so hopefully that should make them portable for those who change/upgade PCs often like me

You CAN burn to a CD, here is from the FAQs: Can I use my music at home and at work? The computer that u bought ur download on now has the licensed stored in it's harddrive. If u play the file on a nother computer, it will not have the licensed stored and will not play. U can burn the files 2 an audio CD and take them anywhere. Press here 2 learn about burning CDs from WMP9. Also, does anybody know what 'The Dance' is on the Chololate Invasion collection? I already have all the first year downloads but I don't recall this one.
