The Very Best of Prince only goes up until 1993 and like many other artists they usually come up with a volume 2 of hits,,so what track list would you make for the Very Best of Prince Volume 2 1994-2004?

I don't think a second disc would include anything by the NEW Prince . . .

Meaning, only prince songs would be on it . . . IMO

Hey. They would just slap O+> / Prince.

Well, lets see. I would do... hey wait a minute... Warner Brothers would be so limited on the selection, they would have to release more music from the Vault.

12. International Lover
13. Free

1. Take Me With You
2. The Beautiful Ones
3. Baby I'm A Star
4. Condition of the Heart
5. Tamborine

7. Anotherloverholenyohead
8. Sometimes It Snows in April
7. Housequake
8. The Ballad of Dorothy Parker
9. The Cross
10. Anna Stesia
11. Eye No
12. Rock Hard In a Funky Place
13. When 2 R in Love
14. If I Was Your Girlfriend

1. Batdance
2. Scandalous
3. Joy In Repetition
4. Insatiable
5. Thunder
6. Damn U

I dont mean to sound harsh or anything, but he only had one hit from 1994-2004, so it would have to be a single and The Most Beautiful Girl In The World has already been released as a single, so what would be the point? shrug

Personally I love Eye Hate U, especially the Extended Remix. But was it really a hit? I mean, did it hit #12 for one week just to disappear right off the chart or did it actually stay in the charts for several weeks? confuse

nice collection.

I did something similar recently, with some of my own edits as well, but stretched it out to 6 discs as I included some key b-sides and prominent album tracks. I need to revise Disc 6 now, though, with the new stuff. I guess 1999 New Master and Avalanche will get the boot.

If a song hits charts for just one week it's still a hit. Not too many of those 80s single releases managed to get to the top10 either, but they were still included on the hit compilations.
