Does anyone know how much Prince's bandmembers get paid? Are they on a weekly salary? Percentage of the tour gross? Anyone?

thnx 4 asking this. I've wanted to know. I always hear stories of years later, people not getting compensated for musical input and what-not. I really wonder if they're competitive rates, or if Prince is a penny pincher.

At the end of each tour he presents them all with a pimp rag, a tootsie pop, and a cane.

They each get $800 a week, and they get it all in NICKLES & DIMES. But that's after they load the equipment into the semis....

Unless Prince has changed the way he likes to do business, they still get paid a poor weekly amount. Just ask Terry and Jimmy!

Hmm.. I wonda if its like a Monopoly?(like what Bill Gates had) he knowz if they quit they won't be able 2 do much wit out him. So there 4 he pays'em by a certain amount(if its low) But if he pays them fair..then guess no answer 4 my question would be needed.
