The Gold Experience costs a HUNNERD BUCKEROOS?!

A coworker just emailed me, asking me what was up with The Gold Experience. Seems he lost his copy in a nasty break-up and wants to replace it before the concert next week...only he went on Best Buy last night and as many of us know it is out of print.

I haven't looked in a while, so I assumed you could still hop on Amazon.com and get a used one for cheap....but DAMN I was wrong.

The CHEAPEST used CD of TGE I could find on Amazon is selling for $59.99 - and it says "Low Price" next to it - uh, YEAH...

Then there's an "almost new" copy for $99.99??!!!

MAN I shoulda bought up a grip of these back in the day...LaMont, where you at? You got some o' these to sell at inflated prices? Is that you selling on Amazon.com? wink

Can anyone hip me to an online outlet where I might be able to direct my coworkers fevered frenzy for the funk? In other words, where can he still buy this shit for say $20 and under?

Anxiety

Try gemm.com or maybe even half.com?

I still see copies of TGE in the used bins at my local wrecka stows for 7.99 - it may be considered "rare and out of print" but I don't think this is quite common knowledge yet...

You can get it for three quid if you go for UK ebay. Do that and get international delivery.

Even cheaper copies can be found on www.half.com which is a sister site to ebay. You can bid on a new version or find one slightly used.

Happy hunting!

The Wherehouse near my residence has two copies for 18.99. Check these places out before paying the prices you're quoting.

It's a crime that such a great album is now so obselete.
