As there have been some really good fan cover art posted recently,
have any of u guys out there created covers and labels 4 'The Truth' CD from the Crystal Ball set?

If not, just thought it would be worth seeing what peeps came up with. I have every faith it'll be spectacular.

I love making album covers but its a long process and I don't really like 'The Truth' album that much. If I liked the album, I'd jump on this.

I know what u mean about The Truth - I didnt play it 4 the longest time, but the other nite, I put it on, and it really struck me as something pretty damned unique in his back catalogue (along with maybe ONA solo) that Im really glad 2 have.

4 once, the production isnt over-bearing, the guitar sound just shimmers, the reverb on the vocals is prefection, and the quirkly little add-on sound FX dont fuck everything up - (anymore of them, and yeah, I guess they would have)

The only track I just cant ABIDE is 'Man In A Uniform' - that just sounds like he's trying way 2 hard, and it really grates with me. I have 2 skip it everytime.

So, I got 2 thinking that as it wasnt available on it's own, if there were any covers out there available...Im still looking, so hence this thread.

Listen 2 it again sometime, at nite, alone, with a good pair of headphones.

I dig The Truth...I know there are some who can't stand this album, and even among those who do, I've noticed that everyone has at least ONE song that they just cannot abide. For me, that song would be "Welcome 2 the Dawn" - it sounds like a Claritin commercial or some shit...."Some users of The Dawn may encounter high blood pressure and constipation. Ask your doctor if The Dawn is right for you."

...but 3rd Eye, Dionne, Circle of Amour, Fascination, Comeback, Don't Play Me, The Truth...I do so love all these songs.

'The Truth' is, IMO, Prince's strongest album of the 90's.
I think the only weak track on the album is animal kingdom...and even that has some interesting parts to it.

The rest of the songs are amongst my fave prince tracks of the 90's.
