"Magnificent" so, now that this new track has turned up, what to do with it....?
do we think it's something brand new? or do we think it's leftovers from the 1999/2000 era Rave/High/Peace stuff? and if we think it's brand new, where in the tracklist for Musicology would we drop it? doesn't sound like much of the rest of it, except maybe similar to What Do U Want Me 2 Do? (or possibly Life O' The Party).

Sounds somewhere between Rave/TCI/Slaughterhouse and what he's doing now.

If you listen to the rhythm track (especially the high-hat thing in the very back) you can hear it is exactly like "Wasted Kisses" and the real heavy bottom-end synth stabs are just like the sounds in "Freaks on This Side" and "Funky Music." I don't think this belongs to the Musicology era at all. Much like the "Feel U Up" B-side didn't belong to Batman.

i think it sounds great.... Thank you Prince !!! www.3121.com
it is the symbol of total transformation. Butterfly represents a need for change and greater freedom, and at the same time it represents courage: one requires courage to carry out the changes

it doesn¨t sound very promising, considering your descriptions of it....

Hey...what is your avatar??? What the heck are U doing there? It's Angelo Moore and Norwood Fisher from Fishbone. It's the cover of one of their albums. There's a hand sticking out of Angelo's neck and it's resting on Norwood's head. Cute, ain't it?

That's a very underrated album in that avatar- I'd highly recommend it if you can find it.
As for "Magnificent", let's just say I loved the Musicology and Chocolate Invasion albums- but find this track to be very weak. Sub-par Prince. But it's okay, everything else was great!
