there are so many.

one that came up to my mind in a second is

Septimo 1999. that is a TV show in spain.

he performed for more than 30 minutes but the highlight was for sure...

MOTHERLESS CHILD

clapping
(almost 10 minutes) those of u who saw that performance, know what i´m talking about.

I have got to say the 1995 American Music Awards and the 1994 VH1 With Honors Awards. Those were the best performances I've ever seen.

Question: Who is that guy in the crowd who can't remember his age and then proceeds to slap himself on the head!?

Hell, I remember that! Around Diamonds and Pearls time! "Daddy pop" and "Cream" were performed if I remember correctly.....

But MTV's 1991 video music award performance of Prince and NPG singing "Gett off" is by FAR his best TV appearance! The nerve of wearing that see through butsuit, only prince would dare to do that! I remember the older girls on my school bus and neighbourhood talking about how 'nice' his ass was(?)

Also the whole performance ruled, with a great set of hundreds of people in background bumping and grinding while the song was played!

'on the one"...(stop)...finish!

Any time u can c P it is a good show. But did u see the end of the Rockn'Roll Hall of Fame inductions. He palyed the best randition of "While my guitar gently weeps". Everything he did was perfect from beginning 2 end. As a musician myself I couldn't believe it. They saved the best for last that night.

My personal favorite:

Whatever year it was when he wore the ass-less pants and had the orgy thing happening on stage to "Gett Off". (at least, I think that was the same performance) highfive

Close second: The back-in-the-day Bandstand performance with the gold pants...grrrrowl! (or as I call it: his "Farrah Fawcett" days...ooo that hair baby!!). drooling
"'Prince is crazy' -- I knew what people were saying," he says. "When I became a symbol, all the writers were cracking funnies, but I was the one laughing. I knew I'd be here today, feeling each new album is my first."
(His Royal Badness, ya'll!)

I like the 1987 MTV video Award performance. Prince tore it up on Play In The Sunshine. And it's the only time I've seen him wear jeans, although they looked like a nifty pair of designer ones.

Septimo during the European Rave promo tour. I also really liked the Arsenio Hall show where he performed My Name is Prince, Blue Light, The Morning Papers, and The Max.
