Well after having a week to listen to this CD and think on it, the one thing I learned long ago is not to compare Prince's current CD with the last or the one before etc.. it is just a waste of time. I mean to compare today with yesterday is not a wise thing to do, I mean we all are different people and we all grow. I dont think its fair to judge a person on what they did as opposed to judge them on what they continue to do. I mean everything has its meaning to all of us, thats the beauty of feeling. I mean I get a chill when I listen to INTO THE LIGHT but to others it may be Garbage. So when I listened to this CD i new as usual it would be judged and compared and not let stand on its own. But when I hear PRINCE sing on REFLECTION about "just wanting to play guitar and sit on the stoop and watch the cars go by" I hear a Man that is looking forward, and still continues to search and grow within. I mean when he makes reference to "Mother" in reflection how can U not think of this man Losing both parents in a year and losing a child and going through a breakup of a marriage, while continuing to fight for his art and continuing to creat for himself and for US.
