A Million Days is The greatest Prince track EVER!

I'm loving this song. I love the old classic stuff like Purple Rain, Anna Stesia, Bambi, When Doves Cry and Courtin' Time.

But surely this is the best Prince track of all time! guitar

Who's feeling me?

I've never heard anything as powerful and moving from Prince or anybody else in music ever before ever in history EVER! This could be one of the greatest tracks ever made, right up there with Jimi Hendrix classics and some of The Beatles' songs!

I'm not a musician but I can tell that Prince is much better than anyone on every instrument he plays.

Prince is a geniuous. nod

Musicology is gonna rock the charts!

Well, I suppose I can understand if you like the track...but it's far from classic prince.

In fact, it's probably one of the weakest songs on Emancipation.
Just my opinion. wink

After I got Emancipation from my ignorant second cousin I was hooked on Prince!

But this album beats even Emanpciation and that's something I never EVER thought would happin!

Purple Rain is a good album too. nod It's a Good early album to show new fans where Prince was going when he was starting out and interesting to listen to so you can see where he would go to get to great albums later like Symbol, The Gold Experiment and then to his epic 3 CD Emancipation which is one of the best EVER Prince albums as well also.

But Musicology kicks the ass of all of these albums I think, if albums can have asses or one ass combined. guitar

I'm right there with the righteousone. A Million Days strikes me as uninteresting and uninspired. Where is the soul in this song? It’s just one small step from sounding being corny and it’s so “airy” (lacking any sort of gravity) that it almost vanishes from my mind before I’m done listening to it. Along with Cinnamon Girl, the worst track on the Musicology. This track has no vitality, no pulse, and the edge of a spoon. Other inspired guitar driven songs like Bambi, Lets Go Crazy, or even Live for Love is missing and it does not have the playfulness or the infectiousness of songs like 17 Days.

It sounds like something else. I just can't put my finger on it... I'm sure that there's an advert on U.K. television which has music in the background and sounds like this.

It's brilliant, incredible, fantastic. And his use of the two lesbians on backing vocals is pure genius.

I'm happy you're happy too.

I really like this track too, I wouldn't say it Is his greatest ever but it is damn good. His vocal phrasing is exquisite and the lyrics are very good as well.

A Million Days is actually one of my fave tracks. It seems to cause a lot of debate on this site. Love hate type of thing. My only complaint is it feels a little weird placed between ICPC and LOTP. I dunno know still loving the whole album though. wink

Leave the thread open - let him suffer. Or play Life O' The Party on loop so he pays for this. Or perhaps Nick prefers that track? Damn.
