Today we were driving around, doing errands and then I took him to see the new Scooby Doo movie. Anyway, I had Musicology on the whole time. Since it was in the CD player already we started at On The Couch through the end and it started back at the beginning and we got through some of What Do You Want me to Do? So pretty much everything except TMK and IIWTMIYL . I didn't really know how much it was affecting him except that everry once in awhile he would sing a bit from one of the songs. But then my wife was just taking him somewhere and he said "I wanna listen to the Prince CD in the car!" all excited about it so he was feelin' it! Can't wait to bring him to one of the shows in St. Paul for his first Prince live experiance since he was at Paisley Park in his Mama's belly!!

Wow! a young Prince convert. My kids like Prince and they are getting used to me playing the music from Musicology. My 11 year old daughter thinks he is cool.

..could imagine, I'm in love with that song...can't even stop playing the video...and kids do know MUSIC!!!

Every time the disc rolls around to the Musicology track, my 3 year old yells "Turn it higher Mom!" over and over until I blast it. She has never done that with any other song before, so I find it pretty funny.

How cool is that?

My kids like Musicology too, the song...well, my 6 yr old says when I ask if
she likes it..."kind of"...that's a YES!
