Burning Musicology from WMA files I've just downloaded Musicology from NPGMC and burned it using Windows Media Player. Unfortunatley its got those fucking two-second gaps between songs that partly ruins the album, given its flowing nature between tracks. I tried burning it using Nero but I'm not able to, due to the protected nature of the Windows Media Audio files. Does anybody know how to burn CDs using Windows Media Player without the gap between songs? Has anybody else had this problem?

I had no success burning it with Windows Media, but I succeeded with Easy CD/DVD Creator 6's Creator Classic. I was surprised it worked because before that it failed with Audio Central from the same Easy 6 suite of programs. Using Creator Classic was kind of a desperate move because I know we are supposed to burn it with Windows Media, but it worked. If you have an Easy 6 or an earlier version of Easy CD creator, you might want to give it a try, though I can't tell you it will work with the earlier versions. Not the answer for everyone, but I used ripped the CD back to my Mac, then used Sound Studio to manually edit out the gaps and disconnects between certain songs. Many, does it ever make "The Marrying Kind / Man In Ur Life / On the Couch " shine. Make me feel tiny if it makes you feel tall, but there's always someone cooler than you. - Ben Folds

Apparently you can burn with MMJB also, which has the option of removing the gaps. All orgnotes and emails requesting trades or how to acquire bootleggage will be ignored. - The ThreadKiller -
