musicology - it's getting better...... OK i admit i was underwhelmed when i first listened. And the 2nd listen. Sure, some good songs, but... eh.
Now i'm really beginning to like it, ALOT, after multiple multiple multiple listens this week. Life o' the Party is still a blight, but the rest of the album.... great stuff. I still feel like it's missing 1 or 2 stand-out great tracks. But the point is that it's growing on me more w/ each listen, and getting better. Anybody else have the same thing happen to them? For an album that I didn't think was all that hot at first, I'm sure playing the hell out of it. I can't seem to turn it off

Yea, it's been in my player since I got my hands on it. The Marrying Kind/If I Was the Man In UR Life are on par w/ Call My Name, not so hot on Illusion, Coma after all - the hook is crazy but the lyrics lose me when I really listen. Solid album, something there for everybody

agree. seems like Illusion and Party are leftovers from the High/Peace days, where 50% of the songs were excuses to show off a relatively weak beat or to tell us once again how great he and his band are. of course, these 2 are stronger than most of those. but they still feel like out-of-place holdovers from those days. "...from the ashes." the ALL-NEW, ALL-DIFFERENT Aaron! on sale now!
