anyone think the tracklists for Chocolate Invasion and The Slaughterhouse are sloppy?

looking at them, it just doesn't seem like it would flow.

when i've made discs of all of the 1999/2000-era NPGMC stuff, i usually split the discs along thematic lines. one for the political/spiritual/NPGisbadassright? material. and another for the love songs.

these just don't look like they work together. especially with Emancipation/NPS-era stuff like Hypnoparadise and S&M Groove...

anyone agree?

Ive only listened to the new CDs Ive made once so far and they seem to flow pretty good.

It was fun a coupla years ago trying to come up with the perfect mix on all those NPCMC trax in year one . I used to thow in bits of the Ahdio shows as interludes.

I like the way these were put together for the most part.

Actually I'd had them in a very different configuration too, but after hearing the newer version of Chocolate Invasion as an album, I think the songs are far stronger and make a much better album than they did as seperate tracks. Slaughterhouse -- well OK, that one's kinda hard to defend. Really, really hard actually...but I haven't heard the new downloads on that one, so maybe the songs are stronger now (as they are on Chocolate Invasion).

The real bitch is that My Medallion (my favorite recent song, except for the new Musicology album) isn't on these -- he actually likes Props n Pounds or Golden Parachute more than My Medallion...?

I was wondering about My Medallion not being on there, the only thing i can think of is because he says "bitch" in it and it says something about wanting "Babe's kids" (?) at the beginning. What with his current obsession with being the "Marrying kind" and respecting to his wife, this is the only reason I can think of (except that both albums are 10 tracks long, so maybe something had to give.)
