Now is it just me.....or does Musicology sound incomplete?

I'm hopeful the Sony version will be a bit different because the songs on the "promotional copy" just sound incomplete. The songs are great!! but come one, this is the first time I can remember not seeing an at least a 6 minute track! Now 3 and 4 minute tracks are great -- when you have 18 of them. But 12, 4 minute songs?? I aint complainin, just hopin someone will reply and say a more complete version will be released where songs will have added jams to them!

For example: Dear Mr. Man -- Prince NEVER fades out his music -- and this song just fades into oblivion after 4:00. This is an amazing groove -- it needs some solos or funk added to the end, or at least don't cop out and just fade it out -- that aint prince.

Sounds like complaining to me.

i agree. i thought the fade on Dear Mr. Man was way too early and in a strange place. It would have been nice to have some longer tracks. Only Call My Name really feels like it's allowed to be complete, if that makes any sense.


BUT - i also thought that about Parade for the longest time. I was like - the SONGS ARE TOO SHORT! But now of course I think it's a classic.

(although i still think the songs are too short) LOL

Dear Mr man definately cuts out too early. it should go on for at least 3 weeks i like it that much.
