Backward message on the into to "Let's Go Crazy" Prince is one of the best at placing backward messages in songs. Any one can record something, and then record it in reverse, ala "Darling Nikki". But "backward masking", that's a lot harder to do. There is a backward mask on the intro to "Let's Go Crazy" When you play "There's something else...The afterworld" in reverse, you can hear Prince clearly say, well, take a listen for yourself. You could always copy the song as a wav file and play it backwards using Windows Sound Recorder after reversing the audio within the program. I'd do it myself but I'm at work right now.  NCC2012... your local Trekkie. =/\=

Wow, you're so high tech you've lost me there. I would not even know how to go about doing that. 
I remember once when I played the song "Temptation" backwards, I swore I heard Prince saying "Let me in! Let me in!" Scared the crap out of me. 
Then there was the time I played the backwards part after the song "Darling Nikki" for a cousin of mine. I remember she got all wigged out and said, "Ooooh what's that?!" I was like, "Gospel!" Then she talked about me behind my back to my brother about how it scared her that I was listening to Prince music, he was a bad influence, blah, blah, blah. Needless to say, our once close relationship is no more. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you. | |

Well, I tried it and unless he's speaking in Klingon, there is no backwards message there.
