Cinnamon Girl...A Song About Condolezza Rice??

When I heard this song on the way home, I nearly had a wreck. The first person to come to mind was Condolezza Rice! What do ya'll think?

Cinnamon Girl... ???
Never knew the meaning of color lines
911 turned that all around
When she got accused of this crime

So began the mass illusion, war on terror alibi
What’s the use when the god of confusion keeps on telling the same lie?

Hmmm... I kinda figured it had something to do with the sudden hatred towards Islamic. I really have to buy this cd so I can read the lyrics...there better be lyrics.

Condoleeza?

I believe he said its about his wife Mani. Apparently because of her physical appearance she had some bad post-911 experiences.

The lyric is 'Cinnamon Girl of mixed heritage...
Never knew the meaning of color lines
911 turned that all around
When she got accused of this crime

I doubt it is about Condoleeza. The song sounds like it is more about someone that belonged to an ethnic group that was scapegoated for 9/11. Like how Arabs seemed to be blamed as a whole for 9/11 rather than select indivuduals.

Although arabs were not blanketly blamed, I know more than a few folks who merely "look arab" who had some idiot refer to them as a terrorist soon after 9/11. The song sounds like its about a similar experience by an individual who may only "look arab".

Who is Condaleezza Rice's hair stylist?

That hair represents confusion, insanity, and being out of touch with reality!

Her hair style represents someone who thinks, plots, schemes, twists the natural way of things to suit her agendas.

i don't know where you live, but many of the news reports i had seen did talk about how arabs and many indians were targeted by angry americans and treated harshly immediately following 9/11. they were looked at in suspicion. some of my in laws are arab and several close friends. this is what some of them experienced.

i didn't say it was a rampant problem. i just said that may be what the song is about. what is your take on the lyrics then?

Correct. Th only problem is, the media didn't run with it...but this wouldn't be the first time. From relatives in New York, they stated that alot of Islamic known communities became victim of a variety of hate crimes.

Yet, this is nothing new America. Take a look around you...wo really has a friend?

This is not about sopiritual warfare. This is a war whose only purpose is to elimante a specific kind of population. It is very easy to say Americans are doing their duty for God while the "enemy" is performing their acts in the name og Alluah (sp?). This is a war of genocide.

The true spiritual battle will never be defined so simply. The war between God and Satan hus gone on before we even knew we were going to be concieved. We already know who the victor of the battle will be - God and Jesus Christ.

I believe Bush has forgotten this. From what I know of theology, to win any battle is to put our faith in God and allow Him to handle the matter as he sees fit. We are to give the Lord the glory and trust in Him. To pick up a gun and kill another then say it is for God is hypocritical. Especially since we know the faction of the 9/11 attacks were Osma Bin Laden and Al-Qeda (sp?). Yes, we sent troops to Afghanastan but I happen to believe and several of Bush's ex-adminstration has pointed out with appropriate documentaion, Bush was more concerned with revenging Sadaam for attacking his Father.

I digress, this is not a spiritual war. This is a war of egos.
