"SLAUGHTERHOUSE"

Has anybody downloaded the "Slaughterhouse" album yet? And if so, what
does it sound like? Are all the downloads the same as year 1 or are they,
much like "The Chocolate Invasion" a bit different, with extended versions
or alternate parts?

I quite enjoyed "Sex Me Sex Me Not" in it's new rendition, as it seemed to
have more purpose with the rap-portion which also mentioned the name of
the title track again. [the kind of cross-referencing I haven't heard on his
albums anymore since *I think* Lovesexy].

The extra soul vocals on "U Make My Sun Shine" are a nice extra touch and
make the album end on a much nicer note than it would have, had it been
the original mix we downloaded in year 1.

Vavoom has some nice extra instruments and overall, the soundquality is a
lot better than the downloads we got before.

Anywho, I'm at work now so I should be getting back to my assignments smile

I've downloaded Slaughterhouse (finally) and tried to compare to the singles that were available back n the day. The clairty is much more noticeable. Additionally, Northside seems to have the 'echo' taken off and you can hear P's lines much more clearly.

I'm still working on the other trax to tell difference.

The intro to Golden Parachute does sound a bit different as well. Unless I've not paid much attention to the previous.....

I'd say download it - it's only 7.77

Much of tracks are the same as the previously released. The sound quality seems 2 better though. Golden Parachute has little differences in the intro. Northside is a lot different and very funkier!! Extra-horns, extra-inpromptu e no echo-effect on prince's voice.
The beats on Hypnoparadie still is weak!! I thought that this one would bump on my speakears...but noooo!
P&P has some little diferences...like in the end...but nothing noticeable if U don't pay much attention.
Still worth downlonding due the sound improvement!!

Missed tracks on both discs: My Medalion, Habibi, When We Will B Paid & Jukebox With A
heart beat !! confused

I heard a sample of the Slaughterhouse that I wasn't impressed with so I decided against downloading it

But I couldn't agree with you more the Chocolate Invasion songs have been reworked and really sound strong on this disc

This tracklist is a surprise. I always thought a lot of these songs were part of "High" and it looks like these so-called High songs are on two different downloadable "albums".

So the Slaughterhouse is a collection of uptempo, drum machined songs. I'm not especially fond of any of these songs but enjoyed some of them back when they were first issued. Silicon is not bad and I like its atmosphere as I do SMGroove for instance. The programming seems oddly deliberate, like it:s now part of an approach to the sound of an whole album. As a result some songs sound better than they did when I first heard them. Kirky J's hand seems less obvious on a couple songs. It's still mostly filler stuff.
