Usher's "Yeah" === DMSR?! I noticed this today that the opening synth horns of "Yeah" sound a little like DMSR. I think this song is my strongest argument for synth horns over real live horns. Imagine "Yeah" with Prince's new "real" horn section. There's no way it would sound as funky!
I didn't mind the live horns though when I watched the simulcast. They were'nt as annoying as usual, but Baby I' a Star and Let's Go Crazy sound cheesy with real horns. ______________________________________________

Yeah is about the most fucking annoying song I have heard.
It sounds like wailing sirens to me. I keep looking for a the bomb shelter when that shit comes on. When I read about the evils of drinking, I gave up reading.

There is not a single instance in the entire history of music where synth horns should have been chosen in preference to live ones.
Live horns could make a fair few Prince tracks better, as well as the tracks of many other artists.

Though I love Usher, "Yeah" is one of the worst songs I've ever heard. EVER heard.
