Life O The Party = Push It Up

I'm pretty content with most of the Musicology album, but Life O The Party is utter crap. I was really disappointed since the live version worked so much better. It totally reminds me about how I felt about Push It Up when I first heard it. I DO absolutely love some of the lyrics, especially "and I ain’t never had my nose done, That’s the other guy". A dig at Michael I assume? I reallt like What Do U Want Me To Do, but the drums...PROPS AND POUNDS..the song sounds so MONO...it almost sounds like its dull and emotionless, I don't like the production at all. The song is great nonetheless.

Live version is WAY better!
Album version is Push It Up with alternate lyrics. Is that Rhonda's voice in the begining? Her voice sucks. What ever happened to Lisa And Wendy? Is Tavis Smiley the extent of the Wendy reunion?

I don't have any solid proof, but I'd say yes. She sang it at the concert, and if it was Rhonda then why wouldn't SHE be singing it at the concert then? Prince even mentions Candy in the song. Not that that's proof, but....

Cool- thanks, y'all. I had one of her albums ages ago on cassette (the one with "Lily Was Here") but I couldn't remember her singing. So it caught me off guard when she started belting at the show!
