I asked a friend to listen to Musicology for an outside opinon... someone i've been trying to get into prince for a long time... made mixes for... but they never really got it and said it sounded dated... and the only thing they knew about prince before i came along was that he showed his ass at the mtv video music awards and changed his name to a symbol... so just out of curiosity i wanted to see what they would think of musicology... and this was the response i got after a few listens...
