9/11 isn't a dominating factor on the album like it was on Springsteen's The Rising, but issues arising from 9/11 get mentioned in three songs.

Issues with homeland security are mentioned in a way only Prince can talk about, in Call My Name: "Land of the free? Somebody lied. They can bug my phone, send people round my home - they'll only see you and me makin' love inside"

Cinnamon Girl is all about Mani's response to 9/11 (I assume).

Dear Mr. Man has mentions of issues surrounding the events of the last few years too.

Depending on semantics, perhaps this is Prince's most "political" album?
