I don't know why anyone would put Vavoom on the radio - it's cute but not that cute Supercute, on the other hand, should have gotten some airplay. Love that shit

I agree about CI.
I have been a club member since day one and have all these songs. But some of them have been re-worked and are different from the original dl's. It was like always hearing the pieces of the Gold Experience then finally getting the album and see it was just a little different. The tracks on CI are extremely cohesive as one unit and it feels like an album. I will be bumpin' these in the car again. Slaughterhouse sounds great too. We got three different flava's of Prince with these albums. I understand why people would not want to pay for the songs again, but it was worth it IMO. At least this time around. no need for me to do so. i've heard all the aforementioned tracks before, save for "the dance". Like I said perhaps you need to download The Chocolate Invasion http://www.prince.org/msg/7/87357 Dance... Let me see you dance

Chocolate Invasion and Slaughterhouse are both poor efforts IMHO. File next to NPS and much of Emancipation.
Neither of these collections of mish-mash tracks are as good as TRC, or even close. They're not albums, they're like fan compilations. U can keep 'em. I have all the tracks on CD-R already and never listen to them. I'd be embarassed to play many of them when with my friends because they're that awful and Prince can do so much better. Why listen to these when u could put ONA, ONA Live, TRC, Xpectation or Musicology in the player? Failing that, there's always the old stuff, which I've heard is quite good too.

I have to say, I'm quite impressed by "The Chocolate Invasion".
Yes, I've heard all these songs barring "The Dance" from NPGMC Year one. However, for the $7.77 you would pay for this album (or 9.99 depending) you are not only getting "The Dance", but you are getting 3 extended versions of songs you initially had. Sexme, sexmenot, Vavoom, and U Make My Sunshine are all extended, and are all the better for it. In fact, I have to say- I truly detested the song sexme, sexmenot until I heard this version of it. I think the original was crammed into an audio show in bad quality and it just sounded extremely weak. This one is hot tho! Not to mention this sequencing is cohesive and well done. I would highly recommend the purchase....
