I think the theme of the album... the "school's in" idea... really works.
Title track with "don't you miss the feeling music gave you" kick off the idea. Then as you hear each track its like listening to a different P album or a different era.
ICPC sounds very NERD. Million Days sounds like the love symbol album. Cinnamon Girl really sounds like an 80s chart hit. On The Couch sounds like D'Angelo doing Prince doing the 70s. You can hear Joni in Reflection and the lyrics to the album end with P just reminiscing.
The theme works for me. I love it.
