Poor Prince. It's sad to think back on how cool Prince was between 1980 and 1987 and now see what a goofy-ass dork he's become. How could he go fom making such kick ass albums in the past to making the kind of crap he's making now? All of you yes-fans who keep saying these albums he's putting out now are good should be beaten. Prince please just go away you little sawed-off douche-bag. Perhaps I was a bit harsh in my previous post  . While I must admit Prince was on a "coolness streak" between Dirty Mind and Sign of the Times, I don't think it's fair to say that everything since 87 has been "crap". Lovesexy and Grafitti Bridge are both *great* albums, IMO, as are the adventurous Gold Experience and Rainbow Children. The Rainbow Children is one of my all-time faves. I don't see how any "fan" could refer to Prince as a "little sawed-off douche-bag" (Great expression, tho. I know a few sawed-off douche-bags myself. ).

In his heydey, Stuart Mangini (pictured above) was the trend-setter and quite the ladies man. But the one thing that kept him from maintaining the image of pimp of the century and trendsetter was the unforgiving effects of AGE Prince has had his day in the sun...enjoy the experience while he's still able to do what he can. Please quit frontin', you will continue to support that little sawed-off douche-bag for years to come. | |
