Prince has been shopping this record for years and no major was interested, is this true? I also read that Musicology had been a single in 98 and that parts of the song had been up on the NPGMC for really long time. Any insight anyone?

Don't know where you got your info, but they were quite wrong. The first song off this disc made its debut about a year ago ("Reflection") on the NPGMC. The only other song that had made an appearance prior on the website was "What Do U Want Me 2 Do?" a few months back. No other songs had ever appeared on there, and "Musicology" was never a single in 1998. Hope this helps.

Until last week if you typed "Musicology" in the Search at Amazon it came back with a single called Musicology by a band I'd never heard of.
