Staples Center Performance Tracklisting - 3/29/2004 Ok,
This is the tracklisting as I was able to compile it while trying to enjoy the performance. This may or may not be totally accurate, but it is to the best of my ability! Enjoy: Show opens with introduction from VH-1's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 2004 Show. Alicia Keys and Outkast are shown introducing Prince. Alicia Keys is speaking and says "There are many kings but only one Prince...". The show kicks off... Musicology Let's Go Crazy I Would Die 4 U When Doves Cry Baby I'm A Star Shhh... I believe that was called "A Father's Song". Somebody correct me if I'm wrong. The song was played on keyboards by Renato then it went straight into Purple Rain. | |

i do remember hearing the scene from Purple Rain when Apollonia and P were in his room and she was playing that backwards tape over the speakers . . . they then went into the song that was playing when they were getting "lovey" on the bed . . . what song is that called? the concert was amazing!!!! music is its own reward - Sting | |
