The Most Beautiful 'Concert' in the World!! I just got back from the actual LA Staples Center concert, where I sat "7" rows from the man . . . I could see the eyeliner on his face!!
All I have to say, is that I feel truly blessed to have been a part of something soooo beautiful, so moving, so brilliant!!! I mean, when he came back for the acoustic set, I could see the emotion in HIS eyes; that's when I had to break down myself and cry (even more than I had been the whole night from being overjoyed)!!! He has in NO WAY lost his spark; it's akindle like never before!! As Alicia Keys (somewhat) put it: there are many kings; both mythological and real, but, there is ONLY ONE PRINCE!! I truly hope that all of those out there who love Prince and his music as much as I do get to experience what I did . . .and soooo many others did last night (3-29-04)!!! Whatever u heard about me is true, I change the rules and do what I wanna do; I'm in love with God, He's the only way; cause u and I know we gotta die someday; you think I'm crazy, ur probally right; but I'm gonna have fun every motherf***in' night!" | |
