I just got home and let me say wow, what a show! I took my girl and she never understood my love for Prince's music but she was converted tonight...now that alone was $15.00 well spent. The NPG was off the chain dare I say it...they looked like a band and not a bunch of backing players. I'm enjoying Musicology at first spin I like it better than Rave and Rainbow Children (I know RC was a different vibe but anyway..). St. Louis was wreckin shop at tha Regal I believe all had a funky time....for those in St. Louis..what was up with the brotha in the pink hat and tennis shoes? Next one of these things we might want to enforce a dress code or something...Um, Pinky if you out there let me hear you and give me some of what you was drinkin' when you put on that hat.

Eeeewwww, a dig at MJ's nose, lol. I liked that line too. I also liked when he said "This is real music by real musicians." And the crowd roared in the theater! I liked knowing that Prince was rocking people all across the nation at once. Too cool.

The Beautiful Ones was blissful.

And I LOVE his coats! Getting a good look at those heels was a lot of fun too. When he was on the floor he looked a bit like parade era. He sure hasn't lost his touch. I was dying for him to do Scandalous though. He did this thing with the ballads though.

It's like Rio for Duran Duran. It's ALWAYS the encore. My boyfriend said "He HATES that song, but he knows everyone loves it and wants to hear it, so he plays it for 10 minutes to torture them. You like the song huh? SING IT! ONE MORE! I'm gonna make you sing it untill you're sick of it!"

He's gonna milk the whole Purple Rain thing this year, it's a given. I wish he played Computer Blue.
