Have a great time at the "concert," everyone I think it's so fantastic knowing that across the world, Prince fans are getting to hear his new album for the first time...it's been a long time since that happened.
What's even more exciting to me is that in just 4 1/2 hours I'll be getting my copy (!!!) and Prince will be kicking off the tour live on the movie screen - that is gonna be SO surreal and SO fantastic!!!! I just wanted to wish everyone a fantastic, magical evening with the rest of our brothers and sisters of the purple underground. Find peace of mind with a pop sound. Make new friends. Be friendly. Smile a lot. Dance like a fool. Oh, and LaMont...you only get as many CDs as you bought tickets -- keep an eye on him, DC orgers!! 
Drive safe, everyone....and look! Even Prince has pores!!

10. I'm taking off my night job early for this, WOO HOO!!! 9. Roadtrip w/ TheOrgerFormerlyKnownAs to some freak-ass suburb, WHEE!!! 8. Seeing all my fellow Chicago fools crowdin' up the house and having a good time 7. THE SIMULCAST  (listed at 7 for purely symbolic reasons, I'll have you know)
6. After waiting all day and forcing myself NOT to download it, finally getting the album on CD tonight 5. Having something to talk about with ALLA yez on here tomorrow (who am I fooling...TONIGHT, ha) 4. Diggin' the concert late at night cuz it's two hours later in Illinois than in LA, and getting a wee pinch of that aftershow vibe (though we'll be getting off easy if that's the case) 3. Watchin' a prince concert on the big screen where everyone in the crowd knows all the words 2. FOUNTAIN COKES AND FUNACHOS, WITH REAL POWDERED CHEESE!!!! and... 1. It's PURPLE CHRISTMAS!!! | |
