Oh and for the record I don't think you are the "Fruit Guy" I did not call you that and have no desire to unless that is how you wish to be referred to. In which case I will call you the fruit guy but you have to give me permission first!!!!

Yeah, there definitely does seem to be a "conditional acceptance" of the man's music. It's as though some people only like his music if it's being hyped up by the media, an "I only like Prince if it's cool to like his stuff". That's not say, however, that there's anything wrong with not liking some of his stuff. I've been into his music for a long while, and there are things that I think are just...well...less than stellar.

I WAS defending them - but not JUST them, I was defending the fact that their opinion is as valid as anyone elses here, and this crap (from both sides) is trotted out again and again ad nauseum.
