"ELVIS, THE BEATLES, NOR THE ROLLING STONES CAN TOUCH PRINCE"!

Boy! The industry need's to top pretending that these groups are better than Prince. Its just BS.
Prince is just a far better talant than the aforementioned acts.In the 60's these acts my have scored chart hits and sold millions of records but, that do not make them a greater act. Particularly in the 60's where people were racially divided and black acts were labeled.
Prince today, than, would have been far more superior.

Prince @ number 2 4 greatest musician ever! Musicology Baby shocked

I would agree about Elvis, because I never got the hype. I "might" even back you up on the Rolling Stones, because Mick isn't really that good of a singer . . .

But THE BEATLES?!! You have to be insane to think Prince is better than them! eek

What are your points of comparison? Your only argument can be that he does everything himself . . .

Don't get me wrong . . . I like Prince better, but I don't that he is better in the overall history of popular/rock music . . .

hahaha... Im just sittin back laughin at this post.. no need to defend anything.. The Beatles legacy is obvious to the educated musician/listener.

Why would you compare anyway? Your talking about 4 group/artists that changed the direction of music.

I agree with the above 100% At 14 years old I sat in the theatre and watched Prince rip threw the guitar solo ending to Lets Go Crazy. He has been my musical hero ever since and I have bought every album that he has released since then the day it came out. That said , the Beatles as a unit (and quite possibly as individuals) have proven to be far better song writers and have influenced modern music in a much greater way than Prince. I think he might even agree. Also, much of Prince's finest work is Beatle, Hendrix, or James Brown influenced. All artists who placed higher than Prince.

My point of argrument is artistry, workmanship, musicianship, and creativity. they're is no act to me that can follow. This man is jimi Hindrix, james brown, sly, parliment, and even a little elvis. so who can top that? So forget the history, Prince got more talant in his one finger than those guys have altogether.

MUSICOLOGY BABY! worship
