There has been a flood of threads / discussions on the org about Prince’s race / colour. Well I personally do not ascribe any importance to the fact whether he is black or white, it does not matter at all. However, his skin is more of a colour which is found in the Indian sub-continent. (also known as ‘wheatish’ complexion). As a matter of fact if he starts roaming in the streets of India, he would easily get passed as a local / native, especially in North India. I think he is neither black nor white, neither too dark nor too light, just right. Of course, he is not from India but his complexion is more of an Indian complexion. Again it does not really matter to most of us what his race or colour is, no race owns him, he belongs to all of us.

most blacks in america are of mixed heritage...african/european and native american roots are the obvious, due to american history and slavery, alot of that information was lost of the black culture...what were mixed with and so fourth, I don't doubt he's mixed, but um not indian, atleast india's blood, but definitely native american roots somewhere.

I too, am one who has been a regular of prince.org since the beginning, who has now migrated to Housequake to read some decent discussion and not a bunch of silly ass ghost nics playing games.
